Biodata

I analyse relevant aspects of movement and integrate them into one holistic picture.
My approach is to synergise knowledge from martial arts, dance, physiotherapy, and Chi Kung with my personal experience…

I was born in 1973 in Czechoslovakia. Today, I live in the UK, in Kent.

Since I remember, I have loved to move. It was too much for some people, so they called me ‘hyperactive’.
I used to do many sports, but the most fascinating for me was martial arts. I wouldn’t say I like fighting, but I want to be able to protect myself and my freedom.
I started with Karate and Kickboxing (where I was also the champion of my country).
Later, I added smoother Winch Chun Kung Fu, Philipino Escrima and Chi Kung I Liq Chuan.
As a martial artist, I was systematically working on the efficiency of my movement.

Next to martial arts, I love to dance. I used to do Breakdancing. Since then, I have seen the wave of kinetic energy in any human movement.
Today, I love to flow with other human bodies in Contact Improvisation.
It makes me happy to move lightly with elegance.

I’ve seen tension as a significant barrier to your movement. My desire to be relaxed and move smoothly led me to become a professional massage therapist and study physiology.

As a mover, I was amazed by Systema, so I started to learn from Vladimir Vasiliev, the most relaxed man I’ve ever seen.
Systema is a modern martial arts system based on the Cossacks’ tradition. The Cossacks were a Slavic warrior tribe famous for brave horse riding and a hard dance.
So, next to Systema, I went deeper into the rabbit hole and started studying Cossack culture. There, I found a lot of great forgotten concepts, for example, the expanding device – Pravilo.
I realised the Cossacks kept very old, unique knowledge, probably from our ancient Vedic roots. This knowledge is a treasure that would benefit everyone.

I’ve been systematically developing my feelings and awareness.
The results of studying myself and the knowledge I had acquired synergised and allowed me to continue developing the system of movement…
